Tulong pangkalusugan para sa media workers

Pangarap lang ‘to noon…

At kapag contributor ka or freelancer, you are on your own.

The first SM-PMPC Medical & Dental Mission in SM Sta. Mesa, Manila was held in July 2022. And for the second year na muling nag-alok ng tulong ang foundation, we grabbed the opportunity.

“We need to learn from the pandemic. Kailangan natin palakasin ang ating immune system. And we are doing that in our own little way by providing some basic lab tests, consultations, and medicines/vitamins all for free,” sambit ni Ms. Connie Angeles, head of the Medical Program of SM Foundation, during our meeting in March.

Personally, this social good initiative is rubbing on me. I am happy to be part of this project for the media. I am happy to be able reach out to my fellow media workers, marami sa kanila ay napagod na rin at nag retiro na dahil sa kakaunting kita at opportunities.

Layunin ng Medical Mission ang alalayan tayo sa ating kalusugan, mabigyan tayo kahit yearly checkup, with the promise of referrals at assistance as may be needed.

The SM-PMPC Medical & Dental Mission 2 was held on April 19 with children with disabilities as young beneficiaries. SMFI’s (St. Francis Integrated Arts School Inc.) Dalfhen Samson, Assistant Project Manager, and Head Physician Dr. Bless Bertos were at the helm.
